The Anna Kavanaugh Charitable Foundation. Anna is the Founder and Director of The Anna Kavanaugh Charitable Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to work toward the pursuit of change in policy and practice that will improve the psychological and physical well being, experience, safety and overall quality of people's lives in various areas. To do this, the foundation is dedicated to providing services and support to private individuals or causes and agency actions for awareness and change in these areas, all at no cost for assistance. The foundation and its resources are allocated to specific division issues of driving concern to the founder, Anna Kavanaugh, and are overseen by an advisory board and planning committee to ensure a standard of collective collaboration in which to help achieve its goals in outlined directives and to bring the best possible help to individuals in need of assistance or intervention.

 

Overview of Division Issues

 

The AKCF currently donates support and services in the following issues: (Cyber-Abuse Division, The Bullly Battleground)

 

Cyber-bullying and harassment

Privacy invasion and exploitation and/or abuse of private information

Criminal computer theft, tampering and distribution, illegal access entry to online accounts

Cyber defamation and abuse. Suicide intervention for victims of bullying and harassment. (Adult and Youth bullying)

 

In addition, the AKCF also seeks through lobbying and organized action to evoke governmental change as follows:

 

Internet governance bringing accountability and expeditious relief to cyber victims of internet defamation, bullying and harassment, theft and abuse

 

Genetically engineered and modified foods awareness and education, together with the need for GMO foods disclosure in consumer labeling

 

Adoptee rights focused most on passing legislation for a birthparent(s) mandatory requirement to provide adoptive parents with a child’s birth families’ medical history information… thereby enabling an adoptee to fully utilize the same precautionary technologies in health care and disease screening available to non-adoptees

Mad Science: The Genetic Crossroad Anna hosts the weekly radio series, "Mad Science: The Genetic Crossroad." The program aims to raise awareness and provide education about genetically modified organisms (GMO), in the world food supply and ... the practices of the GM biotech industry. The series is dedicated to all issues surrounding GM foods, its usage and ramifications thereof. Anna is a writer, advocate, and founder of the (AKCF) Anna Kavanaugh Charitable Foundation. Her original novel, "The Cord of Callows," now an upcoming expanded trilogy series, is the inspiration for a GMO documentary film entitled, "The Cord of Callows trilogy: Fact Behind the Fiction. Fear Behind the Fact."

The Global Institute for Cyber Safety and Standards Anna is a voting member seated on the Board of Advisors and a lead team member serving on the Coalition Committee of the GICSS. She also holds the position of Senior Mentor and Co-Executive Director of Development in the Global Institute's educational coalition program. 

 

In tandem with these positions, Anna also serves as a weekly columnist for the GICSS who publish for syndication her column, "Cyber-Abuse: The Virtual Violent Crime," which focuses on all aspects of the global pandemic cyber-abuse has become and the crisis our collective society must face. Anna's column also addresses victim impact damages and resulting suicides, and the need for legislative and network change in providing recourse and relief to victims while holding cyber-abusers legally and socially accountable for their destructive behavior in our virtual world.

The mission of The Social Network Association is to bring service, safety, and sustainability to social networks around the world and to develop social network best practices that establish, and ensure accountability as it relates to cyberbullying, cyber hate, and cyber crime. Focused on service, safety & sustainability from all social networks.

Anna was honored to spend time serving as a syndicated columnist for The Social Network Station, who originally published her column, "Cyber-Abuse: The Virtual Violent Crime" prior to her signing on in 2014 with The Global Institute for Cyber Safety and Standards who now publish her weekly column for worldwide syndication.
